As a small gesture to support momentum towards the long overdue reparations owed to Black and Indigenous communities, as well as other people of color, who, in this country founded through slavery, genocide, segregation, displacement, erasure, and other human rights violations, experience continued inequities due to historic and ongoing racist policies, Hudson Valley Circus Arts offers 2 Equity Class Passes each week, available free of charge to self-identified BIPOC individuals.

Equity Class Passes are available to support dialog regarding reparations, and are unrelated to any individual’s ability to pay. BIPOC individuals who would like to pay for class are of course welcome to sign up via our typical process. At this time our coupon codes are applied manually, so please text us EQUITY SPOT to check on availability and join in.

HVCA acknowledges that we and the larger circus community have much work to do to proactively support inclusion and representation of Black and Brown people. We envision a future where any child can look up to role models in the creative movement arts, and access opportunities to develop their passions and abilities.
